Post 4 - Making Room In Life

I am coming out of the closet! No not in that way. Had you going for a sec didn't I. Smile. According to some friends I should not keep this blog anonymous. So, my name is Raven Marie. Nice to meet you. I will always try to post on Sundays. However, fair warning that since this is like a journal – sometimes – there will be more than one post in a week (www.twilighttwinkle.com). Now that we have that out of the way. Grin.

Endings are a brutal thing.

Although uncomfortable, as a person, one has to be willing to lose everything thing that is familiar in order to be able to make an open place for the gain of what your God has shaped for you. There is a cost to the things that matter the most to you in this life. And it is in that sacrifice that we find our true complete wholeness. A favored author Margaret Shepard once wrote, “ Sometimes your only available transportation is a leap of faith.”

As a point of fact, sometimes inaction seems like a bigger risk than doing something that might not work out. Don't Fear Failure! Fear being in the exact same place and thought process next year as you are today. Leonardo da Vinci wrote, “ It has long since come to my attention that people of accomplishment rarely sat back and let things happen to them. They went out and happened to things.”

You can't pick the moments in life that change you forever, those moments pick you.

Don't let fear become a self-fulfilling prophecy. If you are in the mindset to think that there is something to fear and avoid, then you will manifest that very thing that you will fear and avoid. Poet Mildred Barthel wrote, “Happiness is a conscious choice, not an automatic response.” (I do love my quotes don't I. Smile)

Until New Years my friends. The best to you.
