“Paradigm shift” as “a time when the usual and accepted way of doing or thinking about something changes completely.”
New Years is one of those gifts once a year that allows you the opportunity to look at yourself.. your world.. and at possibilities. Whether large or small, looking at the possibilities open to you help you to really let your imagination wander aimlessly until it finds that flower or rock or tidbit that grabs your attention that you can examine, experience and explore.
Being an adult doesn't close us off to the ability to lose ourselves into an exploration of who we believe we are, how we feel and what we want to be better in our lives. Children don't have to be the only ones impacted by the undiscovered or new sensations and ideas.
Opening ourselves up to new experiences, new ways of looking at something that we thought we had all figured out but just doesn't seem to be going where we want it too. Or obstacles we realize that we have put in our own path, like huge boulders we just can't seem to move out of the way so we can get to where we want to go.
Looking at these things, allows us the opportunity for transformation. Whether it is one small change or a large metamorphosis doesn't matter. No one will judge you for wanting to be a better person. If they do, they really don't have your best interest in mind, so there is no point in listening to them anyway. Baby steps are just as effective as leaps and bounds. Some might even say a little safer, grin. Although I admit that I am a leaps and bounds kinda gal. Wink.
No matter what this New Year brings into your life. I wish you the very best and brightest in the year to come. Remember to Be Brave, Be Bold, Be Genuine and Be YOURSELF. Talk to you later.
